The objective of this laboratory of the Department of Cultures, Politics and Society is to delve into the context of the Cohesion Policy of the European Union, analyze the interventions financed through the data and information available, and activate a civic monitoring action of some projects using the Monithon’s methods and tools .

ASOC was born and evolved in strong collaboration with Monithon, and since 2013 it has been using our methods and tools for the most important phase of the process, i.e. the civic monitoring research, which ends with the drafting and discussion of the monitoring report.

From 2016 to 2022:

• 17 projects monitored
• 220 university students involved

The laboratory “Cohesion Policies of the European Union and Communication Strategies in the Territories” has been part of the  Communicating European Integration Certificate  (ComEUint) path since 2019 , included within the training activities proposed by the Master’s Degree Courses in Public Communication and Politics and of International Sciences (European Studies Profile) of the Department of Cultures, Politics and Society of the University of Turin, aimed at strengthening specific and transversal skills on the topic of communication and the functioning of European institutions.
