  • Objectives

    A Scuola di OpenCoesione (ASOC) is an  innovative educational path promoted and managed by the Presidency of the Council, and aimed at promoting principles of active and aware citizenship in Italian schools, through research activities and civic monitoring of European and national public funding.

    ASOC was born and evolved in strong collaboration with Monithon, and since 2013 it has been using our methods and tools for the most important phase of the process, i.e. the civic monitoring research, which ends with the drafting and discussion of the monitoring report .

  • Results

    From 2013 to 2022, ASOC involved in Italy :

    • 1,400 classes
    • 34,000 students
    • 2,900 teachers

    ASOC is considered by the European Commission as a good practice at an international level, recently funded by DG REGIO for its application in Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Portugal and Spain, where it reached a further 1,600 students and 200 teachers.

    In 2024, ASOC activities will extend to Slovenia.
